Screw; Fasteners that can only be opened and closed with hexagonal keys are called bolts, other than that, keys, screwdrivers, etc. Fasteners that are opened and closed using apparatus are generally called screws. Nuts are not used in many varieties. This type of screws are generally pointed, and they can be drilled in advance or immediately at the place to be connected, using a screwdriver, electric drill, etc. It is fixed with the help of tools. There are specially produced screws that can be tightened or loosened using a wrench, as well as bolts that can be tightened or loosened with a screwdriver.
In technical terms, screws are the process of making helical grooves on the cylinder. More specifically; “screw” is the name of the helix formed by the hypotenuse of a right triangle wrapped on a cylinder. One of the perpendicular sides of this right triangle is equal to the diameter of the cylinder, and the measure of the other perpendicular side is equal to the pitch of the screw. When a head is added to one end of the cylindrical part that has been screwed, the object obtained is a bolt. The part called the bolt head has different polygon types, from three corners to eight corners, and forms suitable for screwdrivers.
